Our God Reigns

Sitting in front of disillusionment's,disappointments and a total sense of helplessness.
We sometimes forget that God is in control,
We only see the situations but not his huge hands working on our behalf
We start confessing negative and let go of the precious strings of trust which kept us intact all these years
We have been delivered a 1000 times before, we have been healed several times
We have felt his presence and his healing touch
Yet when we see our situation we forget our past and start  believing what the devil wants us to
Where is our faith? We read about David and Goliath umpteen times yet we don't have the strength to fight an ant..
We read the persecution of Paul and the apostles every other page of the book of Acts yet we feel we need to be exempted
The slightest bit of trouble and we start squeaking....the christian in us goes meek..
Rise up brothers , our lord reigns,,,,he's still on the throne....he's not going to give up on you Or let you face the battles by yourself..
He's going to carry you through your weakest moments, he's going to squash your enemies flat..
All you need to do is just believe...for our god reigns..
I conclude with words from a song that someone wrote, based on Isaiah 52:7:
How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who bring good news, good news.
Announcing peace, proclaiming news of happiness.
Our God reigns! Our God reigns! Our God reigns.
You watchmen lift your voices, joyfully as one. Shout for the King, the King.
See face to face the Lord restoring Zion.
Our God reigns!
Waste places of Jerusalem break forth in joy. We are redeemed, redeemed.
The Lord has saved and comforted His people.

Ends of the earth see the salvation of your God. Jesus is Lord, is Lord.
Before the nations He has bared His holy arm.
