When the spirit of darkness unleashes its fury upon us
A thick blanket of despair
and hopelessness descends into our soul.
Leaving our dreams and our
wishes wrecked and ruined.
Filling our hearts with
endless pain, anxiety, worries and fears
We feel our fate is
sealed and no one can save us in the pit that we find ourselves in.
We fall into the trap
Satin sets for us, believing the lies he dishes out to us.
At that moment, when you
cry out to the Lord in despair
The savior walks in, shattering
the veil of darkness.
With the brilliance of
his light darkness is pushed back
His love pours into our
souls.
In his presence
Amazing joy fills our
hearts
What is broken becomes
whole.
Despair turns into joy
Hopelessness turns into
hope
Fear turns into faith
Clinging to his outstretched
arm
Like an anchor to our
souls.
We make it through the
storm.
Claiming our victory in
the name of Jesus.
We declare and decree
Ps.118:17 CJB
I will
not die; no, I will live
and
