The Stairway to Heaven

After the tiring journey Jacob lay on a rock under the dark desert sky

Recounting the events of the day he recoiled thinking of the magnitude of all that happened.

Being pushed to deceive his father

Taking over his brother's birth rights namely all the blessings of the first-born

Running away from his brother's wrath

The hasty goodbye to his parents and the gut shattering thought would he ever see them again 

He fell asleep exhausted 

Genesis 28:12 -15 CJB

 ¹² He dreamt that there before him was a ladder resting on the ground with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of Adonai were going up and down on it.¹³ Then suddenly Adonai was standing there next to him; and he said, “I am Adonai, the God of Avraham your [grand] father and the God of Yitz’chak. The land on which you are lying I will give to you and to your descendants. ¹⁴ Your descendants will be as numerous as the grains of dust on the earth. You will expand to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. By you and your descendants all the families of the earth will be blessed. ¹⁵ Look, I am with you. I will guard you wherever you go, and I will bring you back into this land, because I won’t leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

God fulfilled his promise to Jacob.(Ref Psalms 105 CJB)

Just as the stairway to God's provision opened up for Jacob

Beloved there is the stairway to heaven before us as well.

Angels will be with us ministering to our every need

There can be no demons and demonic spirits in the air ways 

To  snatch our blessings and divert us from reaching our destiny

Armor up people and open your hearts to the Lord God Almighty

And then you can encounter the stairway to heaven just like Jacob did.
