What the enemy meant for evil God turned it for our good

The enemy sent a terminal disease

But God turned it into a revival.

 

The enemy sent storms to disrupt travels

But God reunited families long disconnected during this season.

 

The enemy complicated a pregnancy

But God brought forth a sweet child through normal delivery.

 

What was supposed to be a season of mourning?

But God turned it into days of dancing and celebrating.

 

What was aimed to discredit a business?

God opened new doors and brought about an enhancement.

 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

 

 

 

 

Smiling through the Storm

Anna is a middle aged woman I know very well.

Who was so happy and content

With the little world she had created for herself.

Professionally and personally her life's goals were met.

She was waiting on God for what she had to do next.

Out of the blue she got struck 

With a disease so horrible it was in its terminal stage.

So the doctors' said her days were numbered and what was left of her life was very very few.

This left her and her family numb with shock. 

With grief and unbelief they cried and prayed for her nonstop.

Watching her life take a turn for the worse,

Which was ebbing and flowing like a little boat

An anthem rose for her across the nations

By Members from different churches, close friends and family.

Seeking the face of God and crying out for His mercy.

They raised an alleluia and they decreed and declared the word of God over her life.

They made Anna repeat the below verse over and over again everyday.

 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Psalm 118:17 KJV ¹⁷

Anna, in the meantime is holding on to dear life.

Knowing God is always on time and never, never late.

Passing through each day with a positive attitude,

Believing what she is going through is just a bad phase.

Six months have gone by she is still here on planet earth.

Beating the timeline for her survival  the doctors had declared in her death note.

She is anxiously waiting upon God for a miracle

Please pray that she will be healed and delivered and declared cancer free by her doctors very soon.

A Haven Of Prayer

I made myself a haven and called it a room of prayer.

It’s often where I run to

My go to place for all my

Questions, doubts, fears and cares

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 

An altar in the secret room

Is where I bend my knee and pray

To renew my strength for the battle 

Which may have come my way?

 Isaiah 40:31 KJV But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

 

I put up little pictures on the walls with verses of scripture 

The promises i was claiming for

To meditate and to trust what it says.

2 Corinthians 1:20 KJV For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

I put a box in the pray room called it the “pit" 

Where I bury all that's which is dead in me 

And I make sure I never give it a chance to resurrect again.

Isaiah 43:18 KJV18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

 

Don’t give up dear one,

In whatever battle you are facing in today

For the word says

Matthew 24:13 K J V¹³ But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Is there anything too hard for him

The Other Side

In a violent storm 

When the oceans rise and thunders roar.

When the winds are beating down on you so ferociously.

When your heart and head is screaming in fear.

When water is fast filling up the boat.

When you are just inches from drowning

Always remember the Savior is with you in the storm. 

His peace is all you need to make it to the other side.

On the other side is your destiny.

On the other side is your victory.

Tearing the Veil of Darkness

When the spirit of darkness unleashes its fury upon us

A thick blanket of despair and hopelessness descends into our soul.

Leaving our dreams and our wishes wrecked and ruined.

Filling our hearts with endless pain, anxiety, worries and fears

We feel our fate is sealed and no one can save us in the pit that we find ourselves in.

We fall into the trap Satin sets for us, believing the lies he dishes out to us.

At that moment, when you cry out to the Lord in despair

The savior walks in, shattering the veil of darkness.

With the brilliance of his light darkness is pushed back

His love pours into our souls.

In his presence

Amazing joy fills our hearts

What is broken becomes whole.

Despair turns into joy

Hopelessness turns into hope

Fear turns into faith

Clinging to his outstretched arm

Like an anchor to our souls.

We make it through the storm.

Claiming our victory in the name of Jesus.

We declare and decree

Ps.118:17 CJB

I will not die; no, I will live

Battle for Victory

The Israelites froze in fear 

when they saw Goliath.

How in the world is it possible 

To get into a combat with this huge beast of a man and still win, they thought.

It took a young shepherd boy

who showed them how.

1 samuel 17:45-48 NIV

⁴⁵ David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. ⁴⁶ This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. ⁴⁷ All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

What is the Goliath looming large against you 

Charge against it  in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel who will fight for you 

And bring your adversary down.

The battle for victory is done by

    give thanks to him and praise his name.

Oh faith, where is thy light?

You let the report of the dark world

Fill your being and reduce your sight.

With nothing to look forward to 

The spell of darkness covers everything in view

With its blanket of hopelessness which leaves your heart heavy and spirit broken in discouragement.

Can chase away the gloom and make everything alright.

The deep love in his eyes and the radiance of his being

Can send sickness, death, disease, depression out of the window

And out from your tormented life.

 

See his light, see his glory

Feel his love .He is the risen Lord and he is alive.

He will see you through the storm

Rest in him dearly beloved and take comfort in his words.
