While I Was Waiting

While I was waiting

Frustration filled my soul,

Despair filled my heart,

Will my breakthrough never happen?

My mind never ceased to ask.

I went through Seasons and Cycles,

Of pain, strain and blame.

Till I realized it was all in vain,

God will anyway carry out what he has promised,

Nobody can take away what he has purposed.

I will just have to wait so very patiently,

Rejoicing in my spirit for that day of victory!

Tears of the Soul

When your heart is broken and the tears never cease to fall,
When the loss is so huge that it tears you apart,
When your trust is betrayed and hope vanished for good,
You will look at your redeemer and say why or why
Couldn’t you have shielded me from all this pain?

You have asked me to forget what lies behind and focus on what lies ahead,
Yet when I close my eyes I see the live pictures of those that I dread,
Just a slightest recalling of the past brings so much of pain
I ask you O God, once again were all my experiences with these people were in vain?

Soul of my soul I forgot once again
That friendship or relationship is not what it used to be.
There is only a bargain in the end of what is there for me

The ones you believed in let you down so badly,
It’s not about you, its all about them..
You were just an instrument to get what they wanted,
Now that they are done they don't need you.
Move on with your life and be happy too
Are the meaningless words they say to you...

Tears of my soul where are you
You need to understand it’s very difficult to find someone who is true.
So cling to the Savior He is all you need,
Ask Him to hold you till you heal.
And lead you to people who will like you for being you.

The Raindrops of the Heart

Busy going about her work,
A few drops of rain touched her heart.
Feeling tickled and highly amused, she enjoyed the refreshment it brought,
Watching the raindrop rolling away, she felt a sudden loss.
OH No! She thought, is there no way,
To keep those tiny drops from flowing out of her heart.
Raindrops cannot stay, you silly, she told herself that day.
It's just that it makes life so beautiful that you would wish it would stay.
Returning back to her work, she forgot about the drops,
Till the sound of pitter-patter raindrops on her windowsill,
Made her recall, the raindrops in her heart,
She smiled amused so that's what it was all about,
The little raindrops of the heart!

THE GREAT RIGHT HAND

I stood staring vacantly into space,
Felt like Abraham when he was asked to return his son.
Dream of my dreams the vision of my yesteryear,
Was lying now as at the altar, as a dead lamb.
Breathe life unto those dreams O God!
Bring to pass those promises from Your word.
Support, my spirit with Your GREAT RIGHT HAND,
Uphold my weak frame till Your will is done...
Give me the strength and the cheerfulness
To trust You to take me to my DESTINY!
In Your mysterious and unfathomable ways,
You will lead me and teach me to obey,
To trust in You through the rugged wilderness,
And valleys of despair.
With Goliaths and Nebuchadnezzar wandering everywhere,
Yet the warrior within me says
Lead me on O Lord to the Promised Land,
Together, we will rejoice in our VICTORY!

In His Time

Standing upon His Promises
Daily reciting those precious verses,
Hoping against hope that "Today" is the day of the miracle.
Then realization dawns like a large overhead,
He makes things happen in "HIS" time and not YOURS.
He checks the report for test of endurance cleared, it reads yes
Trials of patience,cleared,yes.
Withstood the battering of the crowd, yes O yes!
Never ever doubted,many times,but the report now reads ,cleared the test!
Have you told the world what I am about to do,
You do the miracle ,Lord , then I will tell!
Your faith still needs strengthening,
Maybe you require another test.
Lord I will shout from the mountain tops,
I believe, I believe , you will yell!
As the hymn goes, just believe.
In HIS time He makes all things beautiful.

Our Future and Our Hope

I tried to do a lot of good and help many people on my way,

It came back to me in unexpected ways,

In the form of accusations and many a false charges.

The people who believed me where let down so badly.

There was nothing much to do but just plead for their causes

You O Lord have declared in your word

Jeremiah 29:11
New International Version (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Let them O lord not see the dark alleys,

Let them not experience the pain of the unknown.

Let them not feel the trauma of worry for their future,

Oh God, I beg you, please show them the way!

Unless the Lord

Unless the lord builds the house we labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city, it is never really safe.
Unless the Lord lifts your head and gives you glory, your struggles will never end.
Unless the Lord fights your battles, your efforts are meaningless.
Unless the Lord opens the doors of opportunities, you will be grazing at the same pastures all your life.
Unless the Lord gives you divine connections, you would never ever meet the people, who would shape your destiny.
Unless the Lord makes you rich, you can never be truly wealthy.
Unless the Lord shines his light on you, you will never, really have favor in the eyes of men.
Unless the Lord gives you health, your life, will never be long or satisfactory
Unless the Lord blesses the works of your hand, you can never complete the work, assigned to you with grace.
Unless the Lord shows you the way, you can get lost in the mammoth of daily choices.
Unless the Lord protects you, you will be open to the darts thrown by your enemies.
Unless the Lord covers you with his tender love and mercies, you will never really feel content and happy.
Unless the Lord is by your side, you may not have the confidence to face your tomorrows.
Unless the Lord speaks and guides your every decision, don’t say or do anything!
