Glory and Beauty

When God set Job free from his Sickness and Afflictions

From his Bondages and Despair

He asked Him to Stand Up like a Man

And Deck Himself with Majesty and Excellency

And Array Himself with Glory and Beauty {Job 39:9-10}

With His Sores still Sore and with Trembling Hands

He Bid to Follow the Lords Commands

And lo Behold His Woes Were Gone

His friends Who Taunted Him Now came to Toe the Line

Glory and Majesty and Riches Had He

Beauty and Daughters and Lands A Plenty

For the Lord had Blessed Him Double for All His Trouble

I pray my Brother/ Sister will he not do the same for Thee!

The Lord’s Hand

I first got acquainted with the Lord’s when I was 17,
Had just accepted the Lord, immediately after, lost my dad.
Bad grades in college and a messed up family,
I just wanted to die.
Just when I was contemplating the great act of suicide,
Bright light flooded the room and I saw the Lord in all his glory for a brief second.
And my life has never been the same again.
Everyone in the family was deciding my life,
Marriage /career I seemed to have no choice
I just had to go in with the pool of voices.
But the Lord’s hand provided me the best in both cases
Nothing came to me too easy, for every blessing there was a fight
The battles increased with the years
And I spent many a day in tears
But I always knew the Lord will give me the victory.
I realized over the years just like grandfather did at the age of 94
‘Nee matharam madhee… (In Malayalam an Indian language)
Lord it’s only you I need.

The Battle Belongs to the Lord!

Are you in a battle?
Facing the enemy everyday
Your efforts seems so puny
And the enemy seems to be getting larger by the day.
You are holding on to your courage,
You are holding on to your faith,
The duration seems endless,
Your battle seems so pointless.
A million doubts rise within you,
Can I make it to the finish line?
And a voice within you claims
The battle is not yours its mine!
Try as hard as you can,
On your own strength you won’t go far,
Lean on me and I will make you
Wear the victor’s crown.
Because you need to understand
That the battle belongs to the Lord!

Be Still

When your world is upside down
When Everything just seems to be going wrong
Tensions everywhere
Anxiety fills the air
You don’t know what to do, you don’t what to say
Just listen to me
I will tell you what to do .
Be Still, Be Still
Take it to the Lord in prayer
Let go all into his care
There is no problem Too Big
God cannot solve it (Scott Wesley Brown)
There is no mountains Too Tall
He cannot move it
There is no storm To Dark
God cannot calm it.
There is no sorrow Too Deep
He cannot soothe it.
If He carried the weight of the world on His shoulder
I told my brother/sister He will carry you

Hold On

Hold On when your troubled,
Hold On when your in despair,
Hold On when your heart is aching,
Hold On when your battle never seems to end

Hold On when your patience is falling,
Hold On when your breakthrough is not coming.
It’s so easy to give up and let go,
It’s so easy to say its finished.
It’s so easy to say “this is it’!
It’s so easy to say I’m not in this game anymore.
C’mon don’t you know ,
The battlefield is not for cowards.
Even if its with his  last breath the winner keeps “HOLDING ON’
To his dreams and his aspirations.
Even if its with the last thread of his strength
He just keeps “HOLDING ON’!
Even if he is battered and he is bruised,
Even if his spirits are crushed
And his vision blurred
He will not let GO
BECAUSE he knows what it takes
To WIN….HIS ALL!!
THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL!!! ‘quoting ABBA’

Lazarus Come forth!!

There are times in your life
When you find yourself so bound to your situation
Bound to your past
Bound to your memories
Bound to your hurts
All is lost all is over you claim
You have lost your hope lost your dreams
Just then you hear a voice just like a man did 2000 years ago
"Lazarus come forth"
Just as you are, with all the strings ,with all the mess
I have bought a new world to your door
I want you to be ready to live again
I want you to be (quoting Mark Harris song)
Ready to live
Ready to breathe
Ready to take in everything
Ready to love
Ready to shine
Ready to live this life of yours
Ready to jump , ready to fly
For the second time

Friendship God's way

This post demonstrates what the bible speaks about friendships

Prov.27

[6] Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
How many of us have been afflicted by the wounds  of a friend and not gone past the same.

[9] Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.
When we share what's in our heart to our friend it brings a sort of sweetness to our soul

[10] Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbor that is near than a brother far off.
I wonder how many of us follow this command. We live in the times of out of sight is out of mind!

[17] Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
How many of our days are made at the sight of a close friend.

Ecclesiasticus 6 KJV
[5] Sweet language will multiply friends: and a fairspeaking tongue will increase kind greetings.
We know this one,in today's world the more sweet you get you are soon in for some harsh surprises!

[7] If thou wouldest get a friend, prove him first and be not hasty to credit him.
How many of us would have saved ourselves from the agony of the ditch if we had just heeded to this command.

[8] For some man is a friend for his own occasion, and will not abide in the day of thy trouble.
How true, the people who hang around you for some advantage and you thought it was for you!

[9] And there is a friend, who being turned to enmity, and strife will discover thy reproach.
How many of our lives have been plagued in the present by former friends.

[10] Again, some friend is a companion at the table, and will not continue in the day of thy affliction.
Do you find yourself alone battling your sorrows and wonder where your companions fled.

[13] Separate thyself from thine enemies, and take heed of thy friends.
This is real good advice, take it.

[14] A faithfu1l friend is a strong defence: and he that hath found such an one hath found a treasure.
How many of us have been blessed with one such friend, very few,I must say

[15] Nothing doth countervail a faithful friend, and his excellency is invaluable.
Yea, the faithfulness of a friend is invaluable....that's why they are so rare to find!

[16] A faithful friend is the medicine of life; and they that fear the Lord shall find him.
How blessed we are , the Lord has promised us faithful friends.

[17] Whoso feareth the Lord shall direct his friendship aright: for as he is, so shall his neighbour be also.
Thank you almighty , for bringing good friends our way

Ecclesiasticus 7 KJV
[12] Devise not a lie against thy brother; neither do the like to thy friend.
Your friend is equivalent to a brother so cheat him not.

[18] Change not a friend for any good by no means; neither a faithful brother for the gold of Ophir.
Have you noticed no one is really surrounded by the same group of friend , they are changing constantly

Ecclesiasticus 9 KJV
[10] Forsake not an old friend; for the new is not comparable to him: a new friend is as new wine; when it is old, thou shalt drink it with pleasure.
My old friends its my heart's greatest desire you will always be there for me
