It is well with my soul

Old Benjamin knelt by his bed

And with shivering hands wrote in his diary.

“Father, God, he wrote and broke down crying,

Sobbing he continued,

“You brought us out of the danger

With your mighty outstretched hand.

From a city engulfed in flames

From a country who is fighting hard to save their nation

We don’t know what tomorrow holds.

But your word says in Psalms 5:12 CJB

(11) But let all who take refuge in you rejoice,
let them forever shout for joy!
Shelter them; and they will be glad,
those who love your name.

So we will sing and rejoice, yes it is well; it is well with my soul for because he lives I can face tomorrow.

Living with the enemy

Living with the enemy

Is a lot like living in hell.

All you want to do is to yell

Leave me alone and get out of my head.

Living with the enemy

You are always on your guard.

The enemy is always watching

Hoping and praying for your downfall.

Living with the enemy

Is a lot like a game of chess,

Not to be out beaten

Each is always at their best.

As with everything else

Let’s look at what the word of God says

Mathew 5:43-48

Complete Jewish Bible

43 “You have heard that our fathers were told, ‘Love your neighbor[a] — and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! 45 Then you will become children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun shine on good and bad people alike and he sends rain to the righteous and the unrighteous alike. 46 What reward do you get if you love only those who love you? Why, even tax-collectors do that! 47 And if you are friendly only to your friends, are you doing anything out of the ordinary? Even the Goyim do that! 48 Therefore, be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Dearly beloved

I know it’s not an easy task

But with the Grace from above

We can one day be called good and faithful servants by our Lord.

When Love is Lost

When love is lost

All hell is broken lose within our soul.

Total unbelief will hit us,

“We have been together since eternity!

Now, you suddenly decided you are better off without me”

You would complain.

With heart breaking and tears falling,

Every day it will be a roller coaster ride of emotions.

You will finally accept the inevitable.

Love is gone, whether it’s with one leg or two

I really need to move on, you would say.

Why does love get lost? Have you ever wondered?

What does the bible say about love?

1 Corinthians 13: 4- 8 CJB

Love is patient and kind, not jealous, not boastful,

5 not proud, rude or selfish, not easily angered,

And it keeps no record of wrongs.

6 Love does not gloat over other people’s sins

But takes its delight in the truth.

7 Love always bears up, always trusts,

Always hopes, always endures.

8 Love never ends;

Remember through the tears and through the years.

Be patient. Learn to hold on.

Don't give up on the other person.

Love never ends.

Somewhere down the line

You will get your breakthrough

Till then, keep praying.

Just a little bit

Danielle looked around at her family

All who were gathered around her sick bed.

Upon asking her how she felt

This was how she replied.

“Just a little bit of your love

And seeing your precious faces,

Makes me forget all my blues

And all I want to do is look at each of you.

Just a little bit, of each of your care,

And knowing, you will all, will always be there.

Makes my world look so bright

And something to look forward to.

Just a little bit of all your time

Spending it just for me.

Makes me feel so worthwhile

And I almost feel like a queen.

Through the valley of the shadow of death.

For a little while I have to go

I know the good Lord will see me through

Because that what his word says so.

Psalms 23 KJV

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

And in just a little while.

I will be back in good health

To spend happy times with all of you."

Victory and Glory

It was the classic case of the misfits

The uninformed and the unhealthy.

"What can we do to change our disposition?"

The young men asked the ancient one in the village.

"We seem so backward to the other tribes

They are miles away in every way

And we seem so left behind."

“You need to change your self-image which in turn will change your self-esteem, the ancient one replied.

Instead of feeling sorry for your sad pitiful selves.

Consider yourselves as mighty warriors.

Undefeatable

Romans 8:31 King James Version

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

All this can happen by the renewing of your minds

Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but are ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

He fights your battles

9) Deuteronomy 20:4 (NIV)

For the Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.

Get knowledge

Hosea 4:7 CJB

My people are destroyed for want of knowledge.
Because you rejected knowledge,
I will also reject you as cohen for me.
Because you forgot the Torah of your God,
I will also forget your children.

Victory and glory is His

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.

"We need to start encouraging our youngsters to know His word more" ,the young men discussed among themselves.

“True,” the ancient one replied ,“teaching them the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom. Prov 9:10 KJV

Singing in the rain

I’m singing in the rain,

Yes I’m singing in the rain.

My stomach feels no pain.

Yes, I know ma

You are watching me with such disdain.

You see, it was never my body which needed healing

It was my brain.

I fussed and fumed for every single thing.

That left everyone around me in such utter despair.

Every part of my body was aching

While every part of my brain was over working

Time is ticking

I’m far from where I need to be, I used to keep thinking.

Anxiety would fill my soul.

And my body would be again subject to new suffering.

Destiny took me to a chance meeting

Upon being prayed for by the man of God.

 I felt my spirit uplifting.

All the aches and pains were gone

Joy filled my soul

Now I don’t care about the plans

I’m simply enjoying the rain…

Psalm 23:6

King James Version

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

It's Time to Go

“It was time to go”, said the young man

“Time to leave everything I know,

To start again in a faraway land,

To leave both family and friends behind.

I will have no one to depend on but myself

It’s my walk and mine alone.

If I fall I have to learn to lift myself up

The choices in life are all up to me.

Do I go after with all that glitters?

Or do I gently check the waters

Who do I turn to when I’m confused?

How do I know who should I trust and who I shouldn’t”, he asked of his dad.

“Let the pillar of cloud be your guide, the father replied.

Exodus 13:21-22 CJB

21 Adonai went ahead of them in a column of cloud during the daytime to lead them on their way, and at night in a column of fire to give them light; thus they could travel both by day and by night. 22 Neither the column of cloud by day nor the column of fire at night went away from in front of the people.

God says my word is alight unto your feet

And a path for your walk

Ps 119:105 CJB

Your word is a lamp for my foot
and light on my path.

Proverbs is the book of wisdom

To let you choose more wisely

Proverbs 1:31 CJB

But those who pay attention to me will live securely,

Untroubled by fear of misfortune.”

The Holy Spirit will whisper in your ears

Walk this way this is the path to go.

Isaiah 30:21 CJB

With your ears you will hear a word from behind you:
“This is the way; stay on it,
whether you go to the right or the left.”

Walk with the Lord that's all if you ask me, father said

To keep you wealthy, happy and wise!
