The girl dragged herself into
the temple
"Will the great one forgive
me this time as well?" She asked herself, again and again.
Her body weeping
uncontrollably she broke down before the mighty one and wept.
Tears flowed between her
fingers,
"I am so wretched, she sobbed,
forgive me O god."
The Rabbi, who had come in just
then
Put his hand on her shoulder
turned her around to face him and said
"Daughter, you are redeemed by God". See what god says in his word (Isaiah 44:22
k.J.v)
“I have blotted out, as a thick cloud,
thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee”
"God has buried them in the
deepest sea.He remembers your sins no
more
Neither should yee."
Wiping away her tears with
his hands, he continued
"God gives you Beauty for
your ashes
The oil of joy for your
spirit of heaviness
Go, now beloved, and live for his glory (ref Isaiah 61:3 K.j.v)
Bask in his will and the realm of his promises".
She nodded, her face shining,
eyes brimming with joy,
She left the temple with
quick steps renewed, forgiven and totally made whole.
"To live for your glory alone
, O God for the rest of my life is what I will seek to do... she determined in her
heart and left.
